Cedar Valley Times Vinton, IA February 15, 1944 Benton County News Mrs. Harry Martin Of Mt. Auburn Dies;
Mrs. Harry Martin, 53, of the Mt. Auburn community, died early this morning at the Vinton hospital following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the Fry-Holland funeral home by Rev C. Breidenthal. Burial will be in the Urbana cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Born Jan. 9, 1891, near Garrison as Hattie McNeal, she was a daughter of James and Emma Bennett McNeal. She was married in 1901 at Vinton to Mr. Martin. They moved from a farm near Urbanna to the Mt. Auburn community in March 1943. Mrs Martin was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Charlotte Meyocks of near Garrison; step-son Harry Martin, Jr. Three grandchildren, and the following brothers and sisters: Joe McNeal of Waterloo; Arl McNeal, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Al Utter, Vinton; Ray McNeal Mt. Auburn; Mrs Herb Brickner, Dysart; Mrs. J. W. Snyder, Vinton, and Mrs. Mae Neve of Garrison.
