CROFTON -- Imogene Hunt Mart, 82, Crofton, died at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2005, at her home following a brief illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Hughart and Beard, Crofton, with the Rev. Alan Hopper officiating. Burial will be in Ridgetop Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday.
A native of Christian County, she was born Oct. 5, 1922, the daughter of the late Lonnie W. Hunt and Annie Boyd Hunt Cook. She had been a cafeteria worker in the Christian County schools for 17 years and was a member of the McIntosh Church, Hopkins County.
A son, Donald L. Cook, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, J. Hanson Mart, Crofton; three sons, William D. Cook, Hopkins County, Charles W. Cook, Sandborn, Ind., E. Ray Mart, Crofton; two daughters, Carolyn Hammell, Plant City, Fla., Loretta Owens, Crofton; two brothers, J.C. and Lonnie Hunt, both of Crofton; two sisters, Lillian Boyd, Hopkinsville, Christine Keys, Crofton, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
