Andi was an intelligent, demanding and devious cat. She loved to stalk and pounce on her sisters. She would loudly demand attention, then walk away once her demands had been met. As a kitten, one of her favorite things to do was to jump on the ledge of the bathtub while I was in it. She would walk back and forth on the ledge, playing with the water until she fell in. This happened repeatedly, so I imagine she enjoyed it all up to the part where she would fall in.
Andi would walk up to complete strangers and loudly demand attention, like it was her due and their sole purpose in life was to attend to her demands.
When Lyda and I married, Lyda brought two Pomeranians to live with us, Foxie and Missie. Foxie was the mother and Missie was her daughter. Andi's favorite new sport became the stalking and terrorizing of Missie. Since Missie was never far from Foxie, this would provoke Foxie's protective response and the chase would be on. I don't know which part Andi enjoyed more, the stalking or the chase, but she never tired of the game.
Andi was with me for 17 years. I'll always remember her as my baby and a part of my family. Goodbye Andi, I'll miss you.
