Mr. Hughes,

a native of Augusta,

was a retired truck driver

and a member of Thankful Baptist

Church. He was an Army veteran

of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include a son. Roy

Hughes I I I . Atlanta: a daughter,

Rachel Yancey. Augusta: his parents.

Roy and" Rebie Hughes Sr.. Augusta: three brothers. Billy Lott. Fort Lauderdale. Fla.. Dennis Hughes. Augusta, and Timothy.

Hughes, Atlanta: six sisters.

Fredia Hughes and Tracy Murray,

all of Augusta, and Norma J.
