Roy Hiram Alderman, 91, of 21 Lind Ave., Kissimmee, died Feb. 22. Born in Hillsborough County, he moved to Kissimmee from there in 1931. He was a retired Bureau of Customs agent for the U.S. government, was retired from McCrory's Store in Kissimmee and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War I. He was a member of Desota Lodge No. 105, Free and Accepted Masons, Riverview. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church, Kissimmee. Survivors include his son, Roy Allen Alderman, Indiana, Pa.; sisters, Lena Adams, Plant City, Raye Hanks, Los Angeles, Calif., Mattie May Gray, Charlotte, N.C.; and two grandchildren. Graveside services were held Feb. 24 at Rose Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Harold C. Epperson and the Rev. Tim Wilder officiating. Grissom Funeral Home, Kissimmee, was in charge of arrangements.
