Reed, Aaron - d. at son A.L. Reed's home in N. Muddy on Dec. 18, 1890. Age 86 y., 11 mo, 10 d. Interred at Trexler Cemetery. He was b. in Falkwire [webmaster's note: perhaps they mean Fauquier] Co., VA in 1804. He emigrated to Coshocton Co., OH in 1834 where he lived until 1868 when he moved to Jasper. He had 8 children: 7 sons, 1 daughter: 2 sons in Ohio, 3 sons in Illinois and one daughter in Kansas survive. 6 of his sons served in the civil war, one of whom d. at the battle in Nashville, TN.
