ROOSEVELT, Duchesne County--John Franklin Tryon, 78 died Sunday 10:30 p.m. at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Clyde Miller, Gusher, Uintah County of natural causes.

Born Sept. 13, 1878, Nephi, to Joseph and Mary L. Ferris Tryon. Married Nettie Bowers, Nov. 25, 1912, Nephi. Member, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors: widow, four daughters, two sons, John, Mrs. Delma McConkie, Roosevelt; William, Wyoming; Mrs. Joe Miller, Gusher; Mrs. Mary Larsen, Jackson, Wyo.; Mrs. Lovell O'Neil, Moab, Grand County; 15 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; brother, sister.

Funeral Saturday, 1 p.m., Ballard Ward chapel. Friends call Olpin Mortuary, Friday, afternoon, evening, Saturday until services. Burial, Roosevelt City Cemetery.
