Akens and Melissa Melzora Gunn Akens. She
married William Lee Black. Children: Arthur,
Hattie Black Rowland, Robert Lee, John Homer,
Eddie Woodford, Beulah Black Givens, Gordon
Budgie, and Arthur Brown Black.

WARREN - Mrs. Clementine Akens Black, aged 90, of Warren died Saturday. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Robert and Homer Black, both of Benton, Ed Black of California, Gordon Black of Hamburg and Brown Black of Warren; two daughters, Mrs. Hattie Rowland of Warren and Mrs. Brulah Givens of Louisiana; a brother, John Akens of Warren; four sisters, Mrs. Nora Cash, Mrs. Robert Wherry and Mrs. Anna Jennings, all of California, and Mrs. Dee Richey of Alabama, nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church here. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery by Frazer Funeral Service.
