Funeral service for a lifelong Hood County resident, Corrine Finley, 81, of Granbury were held Monday, March 24, 2008 at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery. The Licensed Vocational Nurse passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008 in Granbury.
The daughter of Giles and Lena (Owen) Ratliff was born August 24, 1926 in Hood County. She married David Houston Finley August 24, 1947 in Granbury. As an LVN, she worked in both the Lake Granbury Medical Center and the Glen Rose Medical Center. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
Her daughter, Carolyn Faye Perdue and infant granddaughter, Tracy D'Ann Perdue preceded her in death.
Survivors are her husband of 60 years, David Houston Finley of Granbury; sons, Ben Finley of Granbury, David Finley of Dallas; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Bob Ratliff and Joe Ratliff, both of Granbury; sisters, Geraldine Massey of Kennedale, Laura Willis of Godley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
