Elizabeth Carpenter, of Auburn Kentucky, daughter of William and Nancy Johnson also of Kentucky, died of Organic Heart disease on Monday, April 24, 1916.
She was age 76, just a few weeks short of celebrating her 77th Birthday. A Loving daughter, wife and Mother, she will be missed by those left to mourn her loss.
She is survived by her husband, John Ross Carpenter and (5) of (6) children: Inez (1867), James Timothy (1868), Nora E (1876), John Herbert (1878), and Cyril (1880); son George (1869), died in 1878 at age 9.
