Obituary

Peter Anderson was born September 29, 1835, in Sweden, died July 4, 1910, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Lindall south of this city, he having made his home there for several years.

Mr. Anderson had not been well for some time but became worse a few weeks ago and gradually grew weaker until he passed away at about four o'clock on the day mentioned. The funeral services were held from the Swedish Baptist church at Balsora Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Balsora cemetery, a large number of the people of the community paying a last tribute to their departed friend and neighbor.

Mr. Anderson came to the United States when he was a young man and soon after arriving in Nebraska. He united with the Swedish Baptist church in 1885 and remained an active worker in that church until his death. He married soon after coming to this country and five children were born to the union, all of whom, three girls and two boys are left with the sorrowing widow to mourn his death. The children are Mrs. Ralph Tooker of California, Mrs. D.M. Goddard of Lincoln Nebr., Mrs. Chas. Lindall of this place, Alfred Anderson of Fremont and Andrew Anderson of Lincoln.

We join with the community in extending to the bereaved mother and children heartfelt sympathy in this their hour of sorrow.
