COLONIA - Mrs. Annie J. Vaughan, 85, a former resident of Colonia Boulevard, died Saturday in the Rahway Nursing Home.

Born in Ireland, Mrs. Vaughan came to this country as a child. Her husband, Thomas, died in 1919.

She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Catherine Harrtson, New York City and a brother, William Tierney, Ireland.

Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in St. Mary's Church, Rahway. Burial was in St. James Cemetery, Woodbridge.

Her sister's name was Katherine Tierney Harrison (1877-1968). She and her sister were born in Eyrecourt, Co. Galway, Ireland. Parents names were Patrick and Ellen (nee Fahey).
