Beatrice Conley Abner, 60, of Livingston, TN, formerly of Crossville, died in peace at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on Feb. 20, 2002, after courageously fighting emphysema for seven years.
Funeral services were conducted Feb. 23 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Bro. Mark Phillips officiated.
Ms. Abner was born June 29, 1941, in Cumberland County, the daughter of A.V. and Nora Conley.
She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and aunt. Her greatest enjoyment in life was being with family and friends. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her mother, Nora Conley of Crossville; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Dan Hundt of Rickman, TN; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Heather Abner of Lebanon, IL; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Bob Harvel of Crossville; brother and sister-in-law, Avery and Michelle Conley of Crossville; grandchildren, Lana Bennett, Kendra Hundt, Carson Abner and Hartley Abner; 17 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and -nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins; ex-husband, Ron Abner; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Benny and Sharon Abner of Dayton, OH; and special aunt and uncle, Margie and J.V. Conley of Kingston; as well as a lot of friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, A.V. Conley.
