First Baptist Church of Turkey.
The Rev. E. G. Johnson, pastor
of the Assembly of God Church
in Estelline. will officiate
Burial will be in Dreamland
Cemetery in Turkey under the
direction of Seigler Funeral

Melton, a resident of Plainview
the past two years, died at 2:30 a.m.
Sunday in St josephs Hospital in
Fort Worth.
Born in Howard county, Ark. Melton
was a section foreman for the Fort Worth
& Denver Railway. He was also a
World War II veteran.
Survivors include his wife; a son Joe,
serving in the U.S.Army in Indiana;
two daughters. Mrs ruby Dean Hale of Friona
and Mrs Vernie Abeta of Plainview; his mother
Mrs Mattie Melton of Turkey; three brothers
Hubert and Floyd of Turkey, and Lawrence
Of BagDad Arizona; three sisters Mrs Edith
Koonce of tuttle Oklahoma, Mrs Opal diering of
Southgate California and Mrs Inez Payne
of Prescott Arizona and 11 grandchildren
