Hendrika E. "Henny" Cummings, age 58, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in Parma, after a courageous battle with pamcreatic cancer. Henny was born July 27, 1951 in Haarlem, Holland. She will always be remembered for her loving and unselfish spirit.
She was the proud mother of two wonderful children Hennie E. and David E. Cummings, and loving step-mother of Matthew D. Cummings; devoted sister of Gerda Mortelette and Hilda (David) Winner; dear aunt to many nieces and nephews, and two great-nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, David and her parents, Herman and Hendrika (nee VanHeest) Eversen.
Services will be held at Prince of Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 Medina Road, Medina., Friday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Daniel Haberkost will officiate. Burial will take place at York Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
