Fred was a native of Bay Shore, NY and a resident of Shreveport for 32 years. Fred was a Podiatrist for 25 years and taught Anatomy and Physiology at Southern University in Shreveport as an Associate Professor and Head of Biomedical Sciences.
Fred is survived by his wife of 22 years, Gail Rossi; his father, Dr. Frederick Joseph Rossi, Sr.; sons, Frederick Joseph Rossi, III and Joseph Nicholas Rossi; and brothers, Todd Rossi, Collins Rossi and Clay Rossi.
Pallbearers will be his father, Fred Rossi, Sr., brothers, Todd, Collins and Clay Rossi, and his sons, Fred Rossi, III and Joe Rossi.
The family requests that memorials be made to St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Shreveport, Building Fund or The Cathedral of St. John Berchmans, Organ Fund.
