Mrs. Alice Van Zant
CHESHIRE - Mrs. Alice Van Zant, 93, of Cheshire, died Monday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Coughenour, Cheshire.
Born in Meigs County, she was the daughter of the late Francis Marion and Sarah Ann Caster Bobo.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Coughenour; and Mrs. Manning (Mary) Webster, Pomeroy; one son, George W., of Huntington, W.Va.; one brother, Garrott, of Point Rock; and one sister, Miss Viola Bobo, of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W.; two sisters, Miss Lovina Bobo and Mrs. Nancy Boatman; and two brothers, Leonard and Vincent.
Services will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Rawlings-Coats Funeral Home, Middleport, with burial in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Strong and Son Funeral Home, Wilkesville, from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday; and at the Rawlings-Coats Funeral Home from 4 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
