Corporal, Company B, 18th Pennsylvania Cavalry. Enlisted on September 19, 1862. Captured at Mine Run, Virginia, on June 1, 1864. Died of dysentery (other sources say debilitas (weakness)) in prison at Andersonville, Georgia, on August 20, 1864.
