A native of New Orleans, LA, Mr. Giovingo had lived in Albany since 1959. He was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church and was extremely active in both the church and school.Mr. Giovingo was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, and the Retired Marines Officer's Club. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps for 33 years before retiring. He served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. After retiring from the service, he worked for several years as a Real Estate Broker here in Albany.
