BEARDSTOWN - Leilani "Loni" Suddeth, 64, of Beards-town died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006, at Freeport Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 13, 1942, in Cass County, the daughter of Clarence and Joyce Ileen VanHyning Pate. She was raised by her grandparents, Manley and Marie VanHyning.

She earned a degree in social work from Highland Community College in Freeport in 1988. She worked at Hoffman Cheese Factory in 1983 and operated a childcare service in her home.

Survivors: three sons, David Lee (wife, Darla) Cobb of Warren, Douglas Dee Cobb of Springfield and Jeffrey Allan Cobb of Hardin; two daughters, Rhonda Lyn Cobb (life partner, Dawn) of Montgomery, Pa.; and Christine Dawn (husband, Roger) Grenoble of Nora; 14 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; five sisters, Sandy Fox (companion, Jack Parrish) of Beardstown, Linda (husband, George) Derry of Industry and Marsha (husband, Jim) Knous, Judy (husband, Charlie) Hawk and Brenda Gaus, all of Beardstown; and two brothers, Clarence "Corky" (wife, Linda) Pate of Rushville and Tom (wife, Amber) Pate of Beardstown.

Services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Calvary Baptist Church, Beards-town, the Rev. Eric Crawford officiating. Burial: Oak Grove Cemetery, Beardstown.
