Abraham Dixon, age 66, of North Chicago, IL passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2000 at the Provena St. Therese Medical Center, Waukegan, IL. He was born in Kaplan, LA on June 15, 1934.
He is survived by his mother, Melber Boudreaux of North Chicago, IL; a sister, Merlene Canfield of Detroit, MI; four nephews, Michael Canfield of Tucson, AZ, Mark (Susan) Dixon, Thomas Dixon, both of North Chicago, Abraham (Tanya) Dixon of Zion; three nieces, Michelle (Theodore) Reevers of West Bloomfield, MI, Helen Sims of North Chicago and Patricia Dixon of Waukegan; also several cousins and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by an aunt, Weda Boudreaux; two brothers, Calvin Dixon and Thomas Dixon; and a niece, Merlene Dixon.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 AM Friday, December 22, 2000 at the Holy Family Church, 501 S. Utica St., Waukegan, IL. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL. The visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2000 from 6-8 PM at the BRADSHAW & RANGE FUNERAL HOME, 2513 Dugdale Rd., Waukegan, IL. 662-3553.
