Funeral services were conducted Dec. 13 for Anton Frolik, 80, a longtime resident of Barron county and former member of thje old Elmwood school board, who died Dec. 10, at Lakeside hospital in Rice Lake.
Rev. John Frummy officiated at the rites at
St. Joseph's Catholic church in Rice Lake. Burial was in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church cemetery at Dobie.
Mr. Frolik was born Nov. 10,1861 in Manitowoc. He came to Barron county as a young man and farmed in the Dobie area. He had lived in the city of Rie Lake for the past 25 years. In addition to serving on the Elmwood school board, he was a trustee for the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Dobie.
He is survived by his wife, Albina; two sons, Lee and Donald of Rice Lake; a sister Barbara Stefl of Havre, Montana and a brother, Louis Frolik of Rt. 1, Rice Lake. There are also six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
