Paul David Adams is the 4th child of Billy R. Adams and Kathrine Ann Jensen. Paul was baptized October 28, 1962 at Nathaniel Lutheran Church, Bruce Wisconsin. His godparents are Jack and Beverly Adams who reside in Minnetonka, Minnesota. He lived in Bruce, Wisconsin until August 1970 when his father moved the family to Anchorage, Alaska then on April 2, 1971 they moved to Bethel, Alaska. Paul has lived most of his adult life in Anchorage, with a brief state in Washington, California and Wasilla, Alaska.

Paul loved working with wood creating beautiful model boats, he also made candle holders for the Bethel Assembly of God Church and was a great cook and loved animals. Paul left Bethel when he was eighteen, moving to Anchorage, he tried beauty school then joined the Army on May 24, 1982 through August 9, 1982, he received a medical discharge because his shoulders slipped out of joint after his discharge from the Army Paul returned to Anchorage, Alaska. Paul was in San Francisco during the earthquake in the 1980's. He left as soon as the shaking stopped and went to Nevada until things quieted down then he went to Seattle, Washington area for a little more than a year before returning to Anchorage, Alaska. He was single and lived in Anchorage with his friend, Howard Lenning. He enjoyed traveling and had the privilege of going to Germany and staying with friends there. They were able to do lots of travel and enjoyed it very much.

Paul passed away June 9th 1996 at the Alaska Regional Hospital in Anchorage after a 6 year bout with the HIV virus. Paul stated in his will that he wished to be cremated an no funeral service. All of the family except Billy, Jr. and Jeff were together for a memorial service in the home at 1400 Moffit Drive, Palmer, Alaska with Pastor Horton and wife Betty of Wasilla Lake Church of the Nazarene.

On May 17, 1988, a beautiful summer day, the family buried Paul's ashes at a favorite family location, overlooking "Thunder Bird Falls", between Palmer and Eagle River, Alaska. Attending this finalization the following family members were present: Billy, Sr. & Georgia Adams, Steven & Chantel Adams and son Steven II, Faith and Audie Kennedy and daughters Chelsea and Cheyenne. Paul's partner Howard Lenning died less than a month before.

Mr. Adams was born Oct. 11, 1962, in Ladysmith, Wisc., to Billy and Kathrine Jensen Adams. He moved with his family to Anchorage in August 1970 and to Bethel in April 1971. He graduated from Bethel High School and joined the U.S. Army, then worked in restaurants. He enjoyed plants, cooking and wood working.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Billy and Georgia Adams of Palmer; sisters, Ann Adams of Juneau, Roberta Fisher and Faith Kennedy of Bethel; brothers, Jeffery of Bethel, Steven of Wasilla, and Billy Jr. of Germany; step-brothers, Robert Stanley of Kentucky and Larry Stanley of Tennessee; nephews, Jesse Fisher of Bethel, Steven Adams II of Wasilla, and Michael and Kenneth Williams of Juneau; nieces, Heather Fisher and Chelsea and Cheyenne Kennedy of Bethel; uncles, Hubert Adams of Mississippi, Jack Adams of Minnesota, and Myron Jensen of Anchorage; and many cousins and friends.
