ANDERSON — Dolores A. (Gibson) Pierce, 82, Anderson, passed away April 19, 2010, at Bethany Pointe Health Campus, Anderson, after a brief illness.

She was born June 19, 1927, in Anderson, and resided in Anderson all of her life. Dolores was a graduate of Anderson High School.

She retired as a legal secretary for the law offices of Austin, Cooper, Busby and Farr.

She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she was very involved with Sunday school and singing; and Ladies Shrine Club.

She is survived by . . ..

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Gibson and Lessie (Smethers) Cutler; and sister, Rosa Philpot.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, South Chapel, 200 W. 53rd St., Anderson, with the Rev. Bill Garver officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the South Chapel.
