son of John Adam King 1694-1766 and MADELENA KEYSER 1693- BOTH FROM GROBARTACH GERMANY. MATHEUS married Eva Christina Hartzel she was daughter of George and Catharine
Matheus King (Koing) came to America 7 Oct 1751 port of Philadelphia Pa.
Settled in Northampton County Pa with his brother Jacob King, of Bethlehem twp. They had adjoining farms. Deed of 108 acres and 133 perches was given by John Penn and Richard Penn.
Matheus King was a member of Reformed and Lutheran congregation in Dryland. Matheus was sponsor in 1806 at Mt Pleasant Church Westmoreland County Pa. Matheus King died 1810 in Westmoreland County Pa and is buried at Mount Pleasant graveyard.

John Konig born 27 March 1790 was last child baptized before they moved to Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland County Pa.
