Ralph A. Baumgarten, age 69, died September 3, 2001 at the Don and Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center. He was born on July 17, 1932 to Alexander and Ella (Ziemke) Baumgarten. Ralph was united in marriage to Ginny Dohm on August 19, 1972. He was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church for 29 years, the Knights of Columbus and also was a church worker. Ralph worked for American Family Insurance, Tri-State Security and was a Madison Newspaper carrier for many years. Ralph was a dedicated worker and family man who will be missed by his wife of 29 years, Ginny; his children, Shirley (Pat) Thielitz, James Grass, Dan Baumgarten, Teri (Shannon) Cash and Cindy (Phil) Roth; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Clara Dohm; sister, Judy (Charles) Reinfeldt; many nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, four sisters and three brothers. A Mass of Christian burial was held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
