The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Etzweiler Funeral Home, 1111 E. Market St., York. Burial will be in Codorus Church Cemetery in Springfield Township. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Ryan was born Feb. 13, 1935, in Washington, D.C. He was the son of the late Harry S. and Mary P. (Smith) Ryan.
He was a salesman for Burlington Coat Factory in York for eight years and a parking lot attendant at York Hospital for the past 15 years. He was a 1954 graduate of the former North York High School and he was a member of Codorus Church of the Brethren.
Mr. Ryan also is survived by two daughters, Sharon Sue Ryan and Lorie Anne Ryan, both of York.
Officiating at the service will be his pastor, the Rev. Joe A. Detrick and his minister of visitation, the Rev. Nancy M. Jones. Memorial contributions may be made to Codorus Church of the Brethren, Box 165, Loganville 17342.
