James D. Allison
James DeSylva Allison, 54, of Nashville, died suddenly of a heart attack at his residence at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Mr. Allison was born April 25, 1910 in Killbuck, the son of Ernest and Goldie (Dempsey) Allison. He was married on June 30, 1932, to Fannie Carpenter, whom he leaves. He also leaves one son Dan of Nashville and one daughter, Mrs. Marcus (Frances) Tipton of Rt. 2, Millersburg; his father and step - mother, of Millersburg; three grandchildren and one step - granddaughter; one sister, Mrs. Ralph Elliott of Millersburg; two brothers, Don of Millersburg and Herbert of Killbuck. Mr. Allison had been employed in the pattern shop of the Fixible Co. of Loudonville for the past 22 years. He was a member of the Church of Christ of Nashville and was a honorary member of the Nashville Fire Department. Private funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Hunter Funeral Home with James Hunter officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Killgrove of Nashville. Burial will be in the Nashville Cemetery.
