Mrs. EMMA LANDIS, widow of Martin H. Landis, died about 9:30 o'clock on Tuesday at the residence of her son-in-law, J. Edward Beck, 133 W. Franklin St., of heart trouble, aged about 70 years. Mrs. Landis had been in ill health for six months. Her death was sudden and peaceful.
She was born near Orrstown, Pa., but had been a resident of this city for 25 years. Her husband died several years ago.
She was a member of Christ's Reformed Church and a highly esteemed woman.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Beck and Mrs. Annie Diggs, of this city; and a son, Elmer Landis, also residing here.
The funeral will take place on Friday.
