AMY REYNOLDS
Amy Reynolds, daughter of Wright and Mary Gillham Dyer, was born October 22, 1889 near Russell, Iowa and passed away while viewing the body of her deceased husband, February 10, 1965, at the age of 75 years, three months and 19 days, having spent her entire life in the Russell and Chariton vicinity.
On August 15, 1906 she was united in marriage to Elmer Richard Reynolds, and to this union two children were born.
In 1913 she accepted Christ as her Saviour and was filled with the Holy Ghost. She remained a faithful and consecrated member of the Assembly of God church until the end.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and three sisters, and leaves to mourn her passing one son, Marvin Reynolds, one daughter, Mrs. Lois Curtis, a daughter-in-law, Glenna Reynolds, a son-in-law, Cyril Curtis, one grandson, Ivan Reynolds and wife, Colene, and two great-grandchildren, all of Chariton; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Jones and Mrs. Vergie George, both of Chariton, one brother, Everett Dyer, also of Chariton, a number of other relatives and a host of friends.
She was a devoted wife, a compassionate mother and a loyal friend, who will be greatly missed by all.
