And this from Alex Luken: "Tazewell Republican; 2 November 1899: Death of a Good Woman.
The news of the death of Mrs. A. P. French did not reach us until after the Republican was published last
week. She died at her home near Tannersville, this county, on Monday morning, 23rd ult. She had been a sufferer for a long time, and was an excellent Christian woman. The deceased was fifty three years old, and had for a number of years been a faithful member of the Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, two sons and five daughters. Mrs. French was the sister of Mr. John A. Neal, of Freestone, this county, and the mother of Mrs. W. W. Moore, of our town. On Tuesday, the 24th ult., funeral services were held in the Methodist church at Tannersville, conducted by Rev. E. C. Moore. The burial took place at the old burying ground near the church. The largest crowd that ever assembled in that neighborhood at a funeral was present to pay the last tribute of respect to the deceased, as she was highly esteemed by all who knew her."
There is one other child of Albert and Louisa for which I could not find a burial place. Georgia Arminta French Anderson, she married Ambrose J. Anderson. If anyone has that information I would love to have it.
