The funeral services were held in the Grayson Methodist Church of which she was a member, at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the pastor, Rev. George Cagle, assisted by Rev. Ira Yeager of Monroe in charge.
Interment was made by the Riser Funeral Home under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home.
Mrs. McKeithen is survived by her husband, J. W. McKeithen, mayor of Grayson; a son, Lamar McKeithen and a daughter, Mrs. Frank Robinson, both of Grayson; two sisters, Mrs. Sue Shelton of Columbia and Mrs. Maud Williams of Hickory, Miss.; and a brother, Bob Monroe of Grayson.
She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Her death came as a shock to her many friends throughout the parish.
