Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia.
Mr. McKeithen died Friday in Columbia after a short illness.
He was a lifelong resident of Caldwell Parish, a retired employee of the Louisiana Department of Highways, a member of Grayson Methodist Church and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dot McKeithen of Grayson; two daughters, Mrs. Ann Kennedy and Mrs. Sue Belle Murphy, both of Monroe; two sons, John Patterson and John Wesley McKeithen, both of Grayson; a sister, Mrs. Frank Robinson of Grayson; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were John Frank Robinson, Don Burns, Judson McKeithen, John J. McKeithen, Bishop Monroe and Bob Meredith.
