STANTON - Alta Mae Ringener, 73, of Stanton died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2000, in a local nursing center.
Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Downtown Church of Christ with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are by Gilbreath Funeral Home.
She was born Sept. 30, 1926, in Covington and had been a resident of Stanton since 1945. She was a homemaker and a member of Downtown Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, W.A. Ringener of Stanton; three daughters, Reba Mae Long of Austin and Rita Faye Moore and Brenda Kaye Kendall, both of Stanton; a brother, James T. Bryant of Covington; a sister, Ozella Scales of Gonzales; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
