"Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl Cox, 62, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Steed Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Clyde R. Stanfield of the Trinity United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Bellview Cemetery, Bellview,NM under direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home. Born Nov.7, 1913 in Bellview, she has been a life long resident of Curry County, and a member of the Methodist Church. She was raised in the Bellview community. She resided before her death at 1000 N. Thomas. Mrs. Cox died Sunday at Clovis Memorial Hospital. Survivors include two sons, Willie Dean Anderson of Tempe, Ariz., and L.C. (Bud) Anderson of Lubbock, TX.; three brothers Walter Mitchell of Logan, NM, Marvin Mitchell of Anchorage, Alaska, and Dale Mitchell of Escalon, Calif.; two sisters, Miss Willie Lee Mitchell of Escalon, Calif., and Mrs. Beulah Calvin of Tillmook, Oregan; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Elmer Burnett, Clinton Burnett, Ralph Burnett, Leonard Mitchell, Vernon Mulhair, and Guy L. Cohee." Printed in Clovis News Journal Mon. Jan 19, 1976
