Suddenly, at his Upper Leeson Street Home.

Beloved estranged husband of Morah Adorable Father and best friend of Lottie, Rex, Bonnie, Elliot and Babette.

Son of the late Vincent and Maureen,Brother to Michael and Mannie.

Partner of Melanie.

Gerry Ryan was the presenter of the Ryan show aired on R.T.E 2fm for the past 22 years,From 9a.m.-12 noon. The show was for the people to talk about any topic they wanted and covered a wide range of of issues, he also was the founder of Operation Transformation in which he and his team helped people to diet, change their eating habits and become fit. He will be remembered for his encouragement to call his show...The Ryan Line is Open...You tell us we'll tell them. At the end of the show he would say from me and them until then.

Will be sadly missed by his huge circle of friends and the whole of the Irish Nation....R.I.P
Waked at his family home in Clontarf.
Funeral Thursday 6th May 2010 11.30am at St John the Baptist, Clontarf Where Gerry, was baptised, confirmed and married in.
Gerry was one of the nation's best-known broadcasters, Gerry Ryan, who was found dead in his Dublin apartment after failing to broadcast his morning radio show, an Irish institution.

He was 53.
