Losantville Soldier Buried Sunday At Mooreland Cemetery.

A full military funeral for Lloyd Brown, a Losantville boy, who died in a hospital in England in April 1918, was conducted Sunday at the Christian Church in Losantville and burial took place in the cemetery at Mooreland. The funeral service was conducted by the Rev. Harvey Thornburg, of Farmland and burial was in charge of the American Legion.
He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brown and enlisted into the Canadian Forces early in the war and was transferred to the American Army when this country entered the conflict. While in England awaiting to be sent to France, he contracted pneumonia and this, with complications, resulted in his death. He was 26 years old and formerly taught school in Randolph county. The body arrived in this country early last week.
The funeral was one of the largest ever held in the vicinity of Mooreland and nearly 100 members of the Legion attended
