Chester, May 22.--Mrs. Adelaide McGinn Byrum, wife of V. P. Byrum, died at her home in the Great Falls community of Chester county yesterday.
Funeral services will be conducted from the home there Sunday afternoon at 2:15 o'clock, after which the body will be taken to Steel Creek Presbyterian church cemetery near Charlotte, for burial.
She is survived by her husband, V. P. Byrum, four sons, Thomas Byrum and Charles Byrum of Duke University; John Franklin Byrum, Presbyerian college, and Bill Byrum; a daughter, Miss Kitty Byrum; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William McGinn, Charlotte; four sisters, Mrs. F. Ed Porter; Mrs. Robert Wellons, Miss Frances McGinn, Charlotte; Mrs. Mac Porter, San Francisco, Calif.; two brothers, George McGinn, Charlotte, and William McGinn, Birmingham, Ala.
