Eugene J. Hahn, 86, of Olney, died at 12:20 a.m. Today, (Monday) Aug. 8, 1994 at Richland Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney with Rev. Father Jim Deiters officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Olney. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the St. Joe School Foundation or Alzheimers Unit at Burgin Manor nursing Home.

Hahn was born July 25, 1908 in Olney, the son of John B. and Saloma (Oakes) Hahn. He married Mary D. Williams June 20, 1931 in Olney.

He was self-employed at Hahn Motor Sales from 1937 to 1971. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Olney. He was also a member of the Olney Elks Club B.O.P. # 926, fourth degree Knight of Columbus, past president of the Olney Chamber of Commerce, and past president of the Kiwanis Club.

He is survived by his wife of Olney; five sons, Richard Hahn, Frank Hahn, David Hahn, Paul Hahn, all of Olney, and John Hahn of Hutchinson, Kan.; two sisters, Isabella Nix and Mabel Shryock, both of Olney; and two half-sisters, Bea Acklin of Newton and Judy McCormack of Lawrenceville; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Hahn was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, two brothers and a sister.
