COLUMBUS, Ohio - Marvin Pack, age 65, went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 1, 2005.
He was born April 4, 1940, in Smiths Ferry, Pa. to the late Richard Van Pack and Virginia Pack of East Liverpool

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from St. Golvain Calmer Plastic Co. after 25 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Van Pack; a brother, Edward D. Pack; a sister, Beverly Pack and a daughter, Donna "Michelle" Pack.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Donna D. Pack of Columbus; two daughters, Marva Pack of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Tamara Clay of Austin, Texas; a son, Chris Pack of Canal Winchester; a sister, Helen "Patty" Pack of East Liverpool; a brother, Richard (Gloria) Pack of East Liverpool; a sister in-law, Ellie Pack of East Liverpool; grandchildren, Alexis, Deja, Aniya, Tiia, Tatjana, NaJee, Damon and Lamar and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. today at Porter, Qualls and Gary Funeral Home, 2500 Cleveland Ave., Columbus, Ohio 43227, with Pastor Kevin Miller eulogizing. Burial will be in Glenrest Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until time of services today.
