Married to Jesse Smith at Grinnell,Ia., Aug. 4th, 1870 and to this union fourteen children were born, eleven of whom survive, the husband having passed away on November 5th, 1910.
She came to Red Willow county in March, 1880 and has lived here continuously since that time.
The funeral was held at the home at 2 o'clock Wednesday, after which the remains were laid to rest beside those of her husband in the Danbury cemetery, the funeral being largely attended.
