Cazzie Pryor, Jr. went home to be with our Heavenly Father on May 9, 2010 after a short illness.
Cazzie was born April 1, 1932 in Barberton, Ohio to Cazzie Pryor, Sr. and Viola Pryor. He was a Korean War Veteran and he retired from Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. with 35 years of service. Cazzie was a sports enthusiast of baseball, football and basketball. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church, serving as a Trustee for over 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ollie Mae Holly. He leaves to cherish his memory, devoted, caring and loving wife of 47 years, Nancy Pryor; son, Derrick Pryor of Columbus, Ohio; vivacious granddaughter, Amani Pryor of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Rebecca (Calvin) Davis of Detroit, Mich., Mabel Bailey of Akron, Ohio, and Thelma Reed of Akron, Ohio; brother, Alonzo Sweet of Arizona; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
