Stella Spencer Tackett, 79, of McDermott, Ohio. Died Saturday, July 29. 2000, at home. Preceded in death by her husband, William M. Tackett, March 23, 1991;Her parents, William Jasper and Lulia Hopkins((Hobson) Spencer, six brothers and three sisters. Surviving are four daughters, Eula Johnson of Lucasville, Eunice Benner of Waverly, Debbie Koenig of Columbus and Sandy Tackett of McDermott; five sons, David Tackett of Wheelersburg, Toby Tackett and Terry Tackett both of McDermott, Dwight Tackett of Minford and Anthony Tackett of Monroe, Ga.; one brother, Gradie Spencer of Lucasville; two sisters, Alka Whittaker of McDermott and Dialpha Watson of Belfry, Ky.; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
