Mrs. Irene Scott, 73, of 827 W. Railroad, died early Monday morning at her home.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Webb & Roderick Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ernest Foster, pastor of the Friends Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Elk City.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and after 8 a.m. Thursday.
Irene Scott was born Aug. 23, 1914 at Elk City, the daughter of A.M. and Silver Belle (Newkirk) Smith.
She was a lifetime resident of Montgomery County.
In 1932, she married Vernon Godsey. He preceded her in death.
On Dec. 18, 1944, at Nowata, Okla., she married Charles Scott. He died in 1980.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Ward of Howard, one son Robert Godsey, three grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Nine brothers and sisters are deceased.
