Obituary, Chronicle Independent (Camden, SC) Dorothy Williams - Dorothy Williams, 88, of Camden, died Sunday, Feb. 25. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Lottie Carter and wife of the late Robert Williams Sr. Surviving are a daughter, Ethel (Otis L.) M. Wood; five sisters, Elease Cooke, Lottie Nickens, Hester Moye, Irene (James) Coleman and Gladys Pyatt; three brothers, Nathan (Grace) Carter, Clifton Carter and Albert Carter; two grandsons, Brian L. (Lori A.) Wood Sr. and Dwyanne R. Wood Sr.; four great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Brianna, Brian Jr. and Dwyanne Jr.; and other family. She was predeceased by a son, Robert Williams Jr. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Camden, with burial at the church cemetery. Cooke Funeral Home will be in charge.
