Mrs. Theresa Meyer, aged 62 years, wife of John W. Meyer, is dead at the residence of her son, the Rev. Joseph J. Meyer, of Thompson Run. She was born in Detfurt, Hildesheim, Hanover, Germany. When 19 years old she came to this country with her parents. They went to Ohio for a time and then settled in Pittsburg. In 1868 she was married to John Meyer, who for 27 years held a responsible position with the Pennsylvania lines. They lived in Troy Hill for the greater part of their married life. Mrs. Meyer is survived by five children, the Rev. Joseph J. Meyer, pastor of St. Agnes Church, Thompson Run; the Rev. Leo Meyer, pastor of St. Aloysius Church, Reserve Township; William H. Meyer, of the North Side; Mary Meyer, at home; and Mrs. Adam Schramm, of Troy Hill. She also is survived by a sister, Mrs. Joseph Ziegenmeire of Canton, O., and a brother, William Meyer.
