Hays -- Marcella Barbara Bealby, 80, died April 13, 2003, at Hays Medical Center, Hays. She was born March 4, 1923, at Walker, the daughter of Adam and Barbara Goetz.

A resident of Natoma, she owned Marcella's Beauty Shop, Natoma, for more than 40 years. She belonged to St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella, both of Hays.

She had married Carl Bealby. He died in 1993.

Survivors include: two brothers, Winfred, Walker, and Marvin D., Victoria.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Donald.

Vigil service will be at 6 p.m. today and a Hays Daughters of Isabella Rosary at 6:30 p.m. today both at Clines Mortuary, Hays. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Walker. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary and from 9 to 10 a.m. today at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials may be sent to the church cemetery or for Masses, both in care of the mortuary.
