Irene Croco
Mrs. Irene HODGES CROCO, 79, Argos, died at 4:15 a.m. today at the home of her daughrter, Mrs. Eugene (Lura Mae) POORE, Argos. Mrs. Croco had been in failing health several years and seriously ill several weeks. Born Sept. 18, 1882 in Marshall county, she was the daughter of Martin and Sophia LOVE HODGES. She had resided all her life in Marxhall county.
She was married Aug 4, 1910 in Argos to Andrew CROCO, who died Oct. 3, 1953. Mrs. Croco was a member of the Talma Christian church.
Surviving besides the daughter are a son, Henry M. [CROCO], Fort Wayne and two sisters, Mrs. Leah CAMPBELL, South Bend, and Mrs. Lucille SARBER, Muncie.
Final rites will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Grossman funeral home at Argos with the Rev. Paul HALBERT officiating. Burial will be in the Argos Maple Grove cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. Sunday.
