Mrs. Kreiser was born on April 3, 1922, near Loganville, the daughter of the late Charles and Helen Ness.
Mrs. Kreiser spent most of her life as a homemaker, but she was also a seamstress for the former Galeys Drapery and worked at Millers Plant Farm, York. Her main enjoyment was taking care of and being with her family. Mrs. Kreiser was a member of the New Fairview Church of the Brethren, York, and previously attended Codorus Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed her Christian faith, reading, completing word fill-ins, playing Scrabble, time on Tuesdays with her sisters, and cooking traditional Sunday meals for her family.
She leaves behind three devoted grandsons, Samuel Terroso, III and his wife, Kellee of York, Benjamin Terroso and his wife, Barbara E. of York, and Joseph Terroso and Shanna Wiest of York; nine great-grandchildren, Joe, Korrine, Aaron, Owen, Bryna, Toni, Syd, Avery, and Olivia; four brothers, Laverne E. Ness of York, and Mahlon "Pete" Ness, Charles "Butch" Ness, and Richard W. Ness, all of Seven Valleys; two sisters, Janice M. Force of York, and A. Ruthie Bahn of Dallastown; and a son-in-law, Samuel Terroso, Sr. of York. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara C.K. Terroso; two sisters, Miriam E. Stremmel and Beatrice Innerst; and a brother, Raymond Ness.
"Grandma (Mamaw) personified UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and support for her family and friends. Her gentle smile, sweet nature, and giving disposition provided a great foundation for all of us. We are blessed to have her in our lives and will cherish our memories with her."
Burial will be in New Fairview Church of the Brethren cemetery.
