She was born in Del Rio, Texas on June 23, 1932 and came to Mesa in 1979. Although she sustained a life threatening injury at the age of 22 and spent the remainder of her life in a wheelchair, it didn't stop her from enjoying every day of her life with her family.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and devoted sister of the LDS church. She was always open to speak freely about the Lord with whomever she encountered.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Gaona and Rosa Liscano; daughter, Martha Bustamante; brothers, Joe and Santos; and sisters, Micky and Leticia.
She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Miranda; sons, Jesse Miranda and David Hernandez; sisters, Elsa, Clementine, Leticia and Juana; 20 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and countless friends.
Agripina touched so many lives and will be missed greatly by everyone who had the privilege to know her.
Memorial Services will be held at the LDS ward building at 977 E. Broadway Rd. Mesa,AZ. followed by a burial at City of Mesa Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Melcher Mortuary Chapel of the Roses (480) 964-4537.
